The bathhouse
A lime-plaster bathing room cut into the lower floor, where the walls hold the heat the way the material was made to.
Tadelakt is lime pressed and burnished with a river stone until it turns waterproof and warm to the touch — the oldest waterproof plaster there is, and the reason a bathhouse can be built from the same finish as the walls upstairs. Ours holds a warm plunge, a cool one, and a cedar steam room. Residents bathe free; day guests by appointment.
- Warm plunge 38°C, lime-lined
- Cool plunge Straight off the cliff spring
- Cedar steam Twice hourly, on the hour
- Treatments Two therapists, by appointment
