The bathhouse

Warm water, cold water, cedar steam.

What to bring, and what not to

We give you a robe, slippers, two towels and a bag for wet things. They wait in your room.

Bring a swimsuit. The bathhouse is mixed, calm and quiet; phones stay in the changing room.

Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant or have a heart condition. The cold plunge is a shock to anyone.

Walk all day, then bathe.

The path passes the gate. The bathhouse is warm by five. Rooms from £135 a night in winter.
