The two Harbour Doubles face east, over the slate roofs of the village and down to the harbour where the day boats go out before six. They fill with light early, and a writing table sits in each window for the guests who come to work as much as to rest.
They are the least expensive rooms with a sea view, and in the winter months they are some of the best value on this stretch of coast.
Who it suits
Solo travellers, early risers, anyone who wants to be out on the path by eight. The table is a real desk and the Wi-Fi reaches it properly.
Good to know
The double bed is 150 cm wide. If you would rather have a king, the Headland Rooms cost about £50 more a night.
